Our intensive driving courses are designed to help you learn quicker and save money. Reducing gaps between driving lessons will effectively enable a pupil to pick up essential driving skills quickly. Why take an Intensive Driving Course?
With an intensive driving course it can be adapted to fit around an individuals personal lifestyle along with enabling you to learn quicker. It has been proven to be an effective way of learning rather than large gaps between lessons. It is important to plan the intensive course so you are able to digest information between lessons and to also avoid lessons which are too long.
How many hours will I need?
Everybody is different and learns at a different pace, but at Ready To Go Driving School we understand how important it is to adapt to an individuals ability and needs and to also be cost effective. To enable us to achieve this goal we would recommend an assessment drive with one of our fully qualified instructors to determine which course would suit you best. Please note each lesson is a minimum of 1.5 hours.
Is the practical driving test included?
Each course is for driving lessons only, you would need to book and pay separately for any driving tests, and also consider possible additional time for use of the tuition vehicle on test day which would be charged at the hourly rate. We highly recommend booking and passing your theory test as soon as possible, and ideally to have passed the theory test before starting any intensive course. We would ask any pupils not to book the practical test until you have spoken to your instructor, we would need to discuss a realistic timescale as to when you are likely to be at a test standard, and to check the instructors availability for your chosen/agreed test date/time.
Please note: Our aim as a driving school is to help any individual achieve their goal in a professional, safe environment, we will only allow pupils to attend the driving test if the pupil is test standard ready.
What is included in the price?
Each intensive course includes a fully qualified approved driving instructor (ADI), fully insured and serviced vehicle fitted with dual controls and a dash camera, satellite navigation, fuel, air conditioning, door to door service, priority booking. We offer set hours for each intensive course, please note: It would be most likely if an individual has had no previous experience they would need at least 30-40 hours. We have included information on each intensive course on our intensive course prices page (see button below), which also gives an idea on which course might be suitable depending on experience and ability.
